Join Or Die: Why You NEED to Join a Genealogical Society
Summary:
Beginning genealogists often feel like they are the only ones in their family who is interested in genealogical research. Beyond friendship and fun, there are many reasons why genealogists should join a genealogical society (or two!). This lecture will look at the history of genealogical societies in the United States, discuss the "Top 10" reasons to join a society, the three societies every genealogist needs to join.
