Ethnic Research
Below is a list of all lectures that I offer on these topics. All are geared to be a one-hour lecture except where noted. A complete list of learning outcomes for each lecture are found by clicking on the title of the lecture.
The following are definitions of the various levels.
Beginner – There is no assumption that participants are familiar with any set of records or have any genealogical experience in order to fully enjoy the lecture.
Intermediate – In order to get the most enjoyment from the lecture participants should have a basic knowledge of records such as the census, vital records, etc.
Advanced – In order to get the most enjoyment from the lecture participants should have a solid understanding of multiple record sets.
All Levels – Participants of all levels would be able to enjoy the lecture.

Level: Beginner
Description: For those with roots in Sub-Saharan Africa genealogy can be a painful process, but a rewarding one. This lecture looks at some of the unique challenges facing those with African roots.
Beginning Eastern European Research
Level: Beginner
Description: Those with Eastern European roots face challenges that create unique brick wall issues. This class will help you get your ancestors from North America back to their homeland and beyond.
Beginning Hungarian Research
Level: Beginner
Description: If you have Hungarian roots, you're in for a treat. This class will teach you how to search through records on both sides of the Atlantic to find your Hungarian ancestors break through brick walls.
Intermediate Hungarian Research
Level: Intermediate
Description: This class will teach you how to get the most out of Hungarian language records and how to find whats available online before spending money on research they could be doing from home.
